The Literary Expedition to Greenland: Six Danish explorers decided to embark on an expedition to Greenland to visit the 'new people,' the Polar Eskimos in the far north of Greenland. The expedition took place from 1902 to 1904, and they captured many beautiful images during their journey; of the landscape, the wildlife they encountered, the peoples they set out to meet and even the Danish expats and their adaptations to Greenland life and mixing with local inhabitants. The photos are as unique as they are informative.
